Dumisani Gumpo - Artistic Director and founder of SAITA

Floyd Farai Mutambiranwa is one of the founders of SAITA and now prefers to do fundraising for the organisation which he feels he understands best. Floyd is an economist (loads of economics during meetings) and works in England as a Business Analyst.

This is Zimiso 'Zee' Moyo, the Treasurer of SAITA. He is a qualified accountant and holds degree in economics. He is a committed member of the team. Zee originally comes from Bulawayo, but has been in the United Kingom since 2002.

Troy Mbuso Nkala is the Executive Director. He is a trained general nurse and currently studying for his economics honours degree. He speaks a number of languages from Southern Africa. What a gift! Troy is worried about what legacy we will leave for our youngsters if we do not organise ourselves NOW. Thanks Troy!

Maureen Mataranyika is a qualified teacher and a published writer. She is one of the ladies to start the Zimbabwe Women Writers with o ther popular writers like Babara Nkala and Taona Mtshiya. Maureen is very particular about gender issues and the liberation of women which cost her the right to live in her own country, Zimbabwe. She is the deputy Artistic Director of the organisation and still fights gender equality within the organisation which we support fully.

Thamsanqa Zhou is a qualified engineer and has been working and studying in the United Kingdom since 1998. He is the Secretary General of SAITA and has also helped start the Diaspora Forum in the United Kingdom. Thamu as he is popularly known, is also a trained mental health nurse. No problems if any of us gets bersek - treatment is always handy.

This is Kessy Metzger. We could win the German lady to develop and run our SAITA website. Kessy is working in a Radiology practice. She is very interested in African Art and Music. In 2002 she discovered how much fun it is to design a website by doing one for the Zimbabwean a capella trio Insingizi together with her friend Londa (a lovely Zulu girl). Since then she has been supporting some Zimbabwean (and other) artists like  Blessings Nqo Nkomo and Ramadu by building/running their own website.
